What's new for the Spring Fling?

  • Less wait time between games! (The Competitive Division will be a double-elimination style bracket and you will not be able to play your next game until your opponent is determined. This is the nature of the beast for a competitive level.)

There will be seven divisions in this tournament: Competitive Singles, Competitive Doubles, Social Singles, Social Doubles, Novice Singles, Novice Doubles, Under 14 Division

Entry Fees Prior to May 18th:

  • Competitive: $50 per person
  • Social Throwers: $20 per person 
  • Novice (first-time baggers): $10 per person
  • Under 14 Division: free

Entry Fees on May 18th & 19th:

  • Competitive: $75 per person
  • Social Throwers: $30 per person
  • Novice (first-time baggers): $15 per person
  • Under 14 Division: free

Prizes: (the winner of the Winter Classic took home $900 cash)

  • The Competitive Level prize pool will be 50% of the total Competitive Level entry take + corporate sponsorship $.  The payout of the prize pool will be awarded as follows: 1st: 50%, 2nd: 25%, 3rd: 15%, 4th: 10%, 5th: gift certificate
  • The Social Throwers: 1st: $100, 2nd: $50, 3rd: $25, 4th: gift certificate, 5th: gift certificate
  • Novice (first-timers):  1st: trophy & gift certificate, 2nd: gift certificate, 3rd: gift certificate, 4th: gift certificate, 5th: gift certificate
  • Under 14: 1st: trophy & gift certificate, 2nd: gift certificate

Obviously, the media coverage of our first tournament was amazing. It was picked up by every major newspaper in the Chicagoland area. Our website receives tens of thousands of hits per month, and will be a first page Google result for most "cornhole" or "bean bag" related searches.

You can benefit from this exposure by becoming a sponsor. Sponsors donate products, services, or cash to the event for the right to display a sales booth at the event and have their logo/contact information displayed on our website, back of our giveaway t-shirts, promotional flyers, etc.
